The Monster Match is a collaborative project that involves drawing, writing, reading, and following directions. Classroom teachers are paired based on their schedules to create and exchange instructions on how to create a monster.
Participating teachers will divide their class into groups. Students will create a monster, then write directions on how to recreate their monster to be shared with their partner class. Exchanged instructions will lead to the students following the instructions to draw their partner group's monster.
Classes connect over video using Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom to read their instructions and to compare monsters. Teachers do not have to have Zoom Pro accounts to participate.
